1:00: Pilar Patterson presents "What Happens when Wastewater Discharges to the Environment Before it Reaches the Treatment Plant? How Addressing CSOs and SSOs Will Drive Green Infrastructure in New Jersey"
Bio: Pilar Patterson is a Program Manager with Kleinfelder. Prior to joining Kleinfelder, Pilar was employed for 29 years with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, most recently as Chief of the Bureau of Surface Water Permitting, Division of Water Quality, where she managed programs regulating over 400 wastewater facilities in New Jersey.
Pilar’s responsibilities included managing New Jersey’s CSO program, review of water quality studies, 316(a) and (b) intake and thermal discharge requirements at nuclear power facilities and other power generating stations, TMDL implementation, PCB pollutant minimization plans, and related NJPDES program requirements.
