USDA-NRCS Brown Bag Presentation

Presented by Christine Hall

NRCS State Office

220 Davidson Avenue, 4th Floor

Somerset, NJ 08873

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service has a long history of working with landowners to improve water resources.  Christine Hall, State Resource Conservationist and current Acting State Conservationist, will give an overview of USDA-NRCS programs and activities, with a focus on those that relate to water resources in NJ.  She will provide examples of projects where USDA-NRCS has worked with partners and utilized NRCS programs to implement those projects so that NJAWRA members will be able to identify projects where NRCS could be a valuable partner.

Christine Hall works for the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service.   Ms. Hall received a B.S. in Natural Resource Management from Cook College, Rutgers University.   She is currently the State Resource Conservationist for NJ NRCS and is responsible for providing statewide technical leadership for conservation planning, as well as guidance in formulating and recommending procedures and policies in areas such as agronomy, biology, woodland conservation, plant materials, economics, water quality, and grazing.
