3:00 pm Tour Conclusion

NJ-AWRA has been fortunate to hold many events at Duke Farms since it opened to the public. Unfortunately, most of us don't take the time to take advantage of all that Duke Farms has to offer when we are there for our NJ-AWRA seminars! This field trip will give members (and non-members) the opportunity to hear from Thomas Almendinger, Director of Natural Resources & Agroecology at Duke Farms, about some of the highlights of the various ecological restoration projects that have occurred on the property.

Tour attendees should gather in the Orientation Center/Barn Cafe.  Attendees are urged to bring their own lunch, or purchase lunch at the Farm Barn Cafe. This will be a walking tour, so please bring appropriate footwear. After the conclusion of the tour, attendees are free to explore the many habitats that exist on the grounds (with over 18 miles of walking trails!)

This tour is free to NJ-AWRA members, and $15 to non-members
